Getting Lucky—With Erotic Romance Military Heroes and a Drawing for a Free E-Book

Personally, I read romance for the HEA, the characters and—of course—the sexy men. I know I’m biased but I think I got really lucky with USN Senior ChiefOff Limits cover art Hank O’Mara and USN Chief Joe Hazard, the heroes of my Sexy Sailor series. These men are everything that’s good about the US Navy, honorable, upstanding, strong, dedicated and everything a reader could want in a romantic hero, handsome, sexy, smart, considerate lovers. Neither one starts his book thinking he’ll ever fall in love—not the forever kind, but both accept love whole-heartedly once it finds them. Take a look at these excerpts from Off Limits andHazard Duty Cover Art Hazard Duty on my website then come back here and tell me which book you’d like to have for free and why? Everyone who comments gets put into the drawing. Winners announced here on Monday, April 15, 2013. Enjoy!

    • Thank you for your comments Eva. I love it when the reason for indecision is because the choices are really good. Sadly, the conditions for being entered in the drawing require a choice. Entries closed at the end of the Get Lucky hop so I could announce the winner today.

  1. They both sound fabulous, Rue, but Hazard Duty appeals to me because the two of them already share a history–I love seeing stories where the couple has some background, and then we get to see it take off from there 🙂 Can’t wait to read both of these!

    • Isn’t it wonderful having a wealth of good stories to choose from. I’ve got so many in my head I’m surprised I get any writing done. 🙂 Thanks for casting your vote. Rue A.

  2. I read both excerpts… They both sound good however i would have to choose Hazard Duty as I like the hometown crush/peeping at the point aspect more than the baseball playing officer.. I love military based romances being a marine wife i am kinda bias towards marines but navy guys do look good in their dress whites.

  3. Both of these books sound amazing. I would take either one. Hazard Duty because hopefully the heroine will get the guy she’s always wanted and Off Limits because both the hero and heroine have to choose love or their careers. What an impossible situation. Thanks for sharing!

    • My thanks to your family and your grandfather for his service and sacrifice. The members of the greatest generation gave the world a gift that few still understand or value properly.

  4. Oh my, Rue…I can’t pick which one – I love that softball scene with Hank and Bethany…wow. Then Joe and Roslyn…well, that parking scene…hmmm, I’m left hanging on both scenes *grins*
I’d definitely love to read either. Thanks for the wonderful offering.
Happy Hopping;) Love your site, Rue!

    • Kay thanks for the kind comments. Perhaps you could decide if you checked out which one cost more. Get that one free and buy the other? Or take them in order (although that’s not necessary). I did write Hank’s story before I wrote Joe’s. BTW, I really did participate in a command softball championship. Our team had neither a Bethany or a Hank, so sadly we lost. I remember the fun more than the score.
